Revised iBooks and Mac minis on the way
So, we're still waiting on the iBook revision, and new
part numbers in Apple's databases confirm they're coming shortly as well as a revision to the
Mac mini line that was
rumoured at the end of last month. The iBook price points
are set at $999 and $1,299, which drops the $1,499 model, while for the Mac minis we're looking at a triple lineup at
$499, $599 and $699 — which could well just represent a machine pre-configured with beefed up specs as opposed to any
major revision in the Mac mini line. Either way, we should know sometime next week.

Oh goodie, now I have something to do with all that extra cash I've been saving...
Anyone want to buy my 17" G4 iMac? It as 512 of memory and a superdrive. I want that half basketball / lamp off my desk.
Anyone have any idea when the new widescreen iBook will finally drop?
Good thing I have been hoarding my cash and waiting for this announcement. Seriously I was wondering how long I was going to have to put off getting my iBook. Oh well, if I save a couple hundo I think I will get the Burton AmpPack to go with my new iPod and iBook.
Will you still be able to get a Superdrive in one of these new iBooks?
I wish they'd hurry up and release them, as the suspense is not helping me sleep. Widescreen iBook, can't wait.
Just in time for the sales tax holiday (GA) next weekend...hopefully...probably not.

Dave, I was looking for an iMac, how much do you want for yours?
Shouldn't that title read "Revised iBooks and Macs mini"? Much like Attorneys General and Whoppers Supreme...
Emberline, very amusing (really — points for you) but no. :)
With Attorneys General and Whoppers Supreme, General and Supreme are adjectives.
In the case of Mac Minis, Mini is still a noun, and is thus correctly pluralized.
