Sony Ericsson's W600i Walkman phone headed stateside
Like 'em or not, Sony Ericsson sure is cranking out those Walkman Phones; first came the W800 at CTIA this year, then the substantially weaker W600 a couple months back, and now the "W550", which is really no big change. See, what they really did was rename the original tri-band W600-series the W550, and rebadge the W600a as the W600i. Not a huge deal, but they did announce plans for the W600i to have a quad-band flavor, just what the doctor ordered for their stated slated Q4 American distribution. Doest our ears deceive us?
