Philips's Active 4GB PSA612 and 512MB SA232 players

Well, looks like Philips is hitting up the busybody's audio player scene once more with Nike-less sports players; they also threw in PlaysForSure WMA, an integrated stopwatch, FM tuner, and even voice-feedback through the phones for good measure. Expect 'em shortly with a $199 pricetag on the 4GB MicroDrive-based player, and $120 on the 512MB flash PSA232.

The 4 GB model isn't a flash-based MP3 player.

"Philips will ship two exercise-friendly MP3 players in September, the 512MB Active Range PSA232 and the 4GB microdrive-based Active Range PSA612."

$199 sounds expensive for a 4 GB microdrive-based MP3 player.
