It's been a rough week for our fellow Americans down in the Gulf Coast, but we're doing what we can over here at Engadget to alleviate the suffering-including a $1,000 donation to hurricane relief funds, not including what we're pulling together with Weblogs, Inc. But the gadget news presses on, and so we must discuss the finer points of Sony's big laptop launches (and their first forays into using SD in their machines' media readers), Locationfree TV (without the TV), and the skinny on Nikon's new WiFi-enabled cameras. Oh, and a little on what it's like to fool around with the HTC Universal-see, at Engadget we kiss and tell.

Hoping to get sweet AAC content, I un- and resubscribed to your fine podcast using your iTunes link. However, iTunes persists in downloading a MP3 version of the latest podcast.

For right now you have to just download the AAC version directly.

I love listening to your podcasts, but the problem is they're too quite. I have to crank the volume all the way up to hear it. When I listen to other music I have to turn it back down before I knock something off my desk. If you could turn the volume up that would be great.

oooh, havent had the time to check out the new possibilities in aac/itunes/ipod, any tips on where to read up on it?

Great podcast. I'm late commenting on this show but wanted to mention Wi-Pics as an alternative to WiFi-enabled cameras. It's a modified compact flash card (so it works on any compact flash digital cameras) that transmits the photos to a Wifi-enabled beltpack. Thought the Engadget crowd might like to see this. Thanks.
