Metal Gear Acid 2 for PSP to ship with "Solid Eye"-gaming attachment

Metal Gear Solid 3D

It's getting ever-harder to look geek chic these days, what with everyone and their grandma walking down the street rocking iPods, Bluetooth headsets, and bulky SPOT watches. In order to set yourself apart from this flood of geek poseurs, Sony has announced that in addition to their Talkman speech-interaction accessory, the upcoming Metal Gear Acid 2 for PSP will require gamers to wear a binocular-like device in order to see portions of the game in 3D. Taking a page out of Robert "Spy Kids 3-D" Rodriguez's playbook, MGA2's director Shinta Nojiri revealed the existence of the "Solid Eye," as well as a few gameplay details, in an interview with Famitsu. No mention by Nojiri of the possible consequences of wearing this Delta Force-type gear on security-heavy airplanes and subway cars.
