Mac mini with articulating display?

apple patent pic articulating display

Hot off the patent office presses: peep an application by Apple that depicts a cube-shaped computer attached to an articulating flat-panel monitor, similar to the design of the desklamp-shaped iMac G4. Since this patent was filed last year, though, it's probably not for the out-of-production iMac, which is leading some to speculate that it indicates Apple's plans to release a Mac mini sporting this type of display. The mini only weighs three pounds, however, so they would need to seriously modify the original box to keep this setup from toppling over. So maybe this signals a revival of the G4 cube for a new generation? Or could it mean absolutely nothing? Probably.
