InFocus refocuses on DLP

Out of Focus

InFocus

, known mainly for their DLP projectors, is undergoing some major changes in both their organizational structure and their product line. After losing over $35-million on revenues of $272-million over the last two quarters, the company announced a shake-up.

The Chairman of the Board, John Harker, is stepping down to be replaced by a player to be named later. Mike Yonker is ousted as the CFO and will be replaced by Roger Rowe at the end of the calendar year. Even bigger news is that InFocus is getting out of the thin display direct-view and and rear-screen business. Watch for a new (but likely slimmer) product line announcement once the dust settles.

I'm thinking they need to change the company slogan first, which is "InFocus: The Big Picture." How about "InFocus: Refocused on Success?"
