Stripy speakers with big shiny button
OK, we're not so sure about their claim that the Stripy "may probably be the most mini ingenious speaker in the
world" but we've gotta give props to Music Studio of Hong Kong for breathing new life into the totally played world of
little crappy speakers. The Stripy
speaker set has an amp with a single button that glows different colors for different control functions, which are
adjusted with the scroll wheel surrounding the bulbous button. That's pretty much all that's going on here, but we
thought you should know.

Hey, I saw those when I was in Bangkok this April. Think that I've got a pic lying around here somewhere aswell. :)
They look UG-LY as hell...
the website itself is the best part of this post -
really bad ENGRISH and a video that has absolutely nothing to do with the functionality of the speakers
Those look nice... any word on price?
If you had those at a party, people would be tossing their butts and emptys into them.
But I like anything that reminds me of those inverted tubas on the decks of huge ships. What were those things about?
You won't believe this but I saw the engadget post on these yesterday while web browsing at O'Hare airport leaving for, where else(?), Hong Kong. I e-mailed and called these folks and they drove the speakers over to my hotel room today!!!! On a Saturday no less. Only 24 hours after I saw them on-line in the U.S.
No joke. Whether I took them or not, they just wanted me to see them. I paid $75.00US for them and they're only about 2-1/2" high and 2" across and can get far louder than you'd ever believe for something this size. I travel a ton (no suprise) so the tiny size is a huge bonus.
No one will confuse the sound with something coming from a living room stereo, but for a micro speaker system, this thing is pretty amazing.
Sadly, they're not being sold in the U.S. yet so I'm just very lucky that things turned out as they did. Although they are being sold on-line on e-bay in Australia. I don't know whether the supplier would ship to the U.S. or not so that's just an FYI.

Lol your not kidding, the 3d ani movie was hilarious, still it looks like a unique design but I wouldn't pay 75 bucks for them... maybe 30-40. And by the looks of it their planing on distributing them in the states but the link to the US site isn't working yet.
Any word on how to get them in the US yet?
