Blackberry 8700c pre-pre-reviewed

BBHub has what amounts to a pre-pre-review of the Blackberry 8700c from a seemingly reliable source for such RIM goodies. Not a lot of surprises, the source finds that built-in EDGE, along with the new Intel processor, made use "much faster", and of course it's thinner and lighter than his old 6280. He says you can download MP3 ringtones if you wish, but we're guessing the 68MB of memory cited will soon remind you that this is still a business first device, and will not look kindly on other such media fancies. He's also jiving with the leaked photos of the Blackberry, calling the look dark grey with "fancier brushed aluminum around the screen". Ain't too shabby, but we're not quite blown away by this latest offering from RIM, who is seeing increasing pressure from other manufactures, some licensing Blackberry software, into the space of push e-mail — along with their offering of far more hardware for those pesky media capabilities.
