Act-On's AMD-0520 for muffled VOIP
We're really loving the absolute futility of this Act-On product. In fact, we'd like to award 5 futility stars to this AMD-0520 MicMouse, especially relishing the mental images it inspires. Scenario A involves leaning close to the desk to whisper sweet VOIP nothings into this thing, Scenario B requires rocking the USB optical mouse CB-style, totally eliminating functionality, and Scenario C sees you mousing around all regular-like, adding wonderful ambient noise and a general muffling effect to your conversations. Act-On does claim to minimize scrolling and clicking noise somehow, and they've even gone through the trouble of patenting this clicker, so maybe we're just totally missing the boat here.
