The MoGo MouseBT stows away in your PC card slot
If you're tired of storing loose change in your
laptop's oft neglected PC card slot, Newton Peripherals has a new one for you. They'll be unveiling their MoGo MouseBT
at CES this year, and it is just that: a
Bluetooth mouse that stows away
in your PC card slot and includes a kickstand of sorts to make operation somewhat ergonomic. We'll have to wait and see
just how ergonomic in January.

too bad my 12in pb doesn't have a card slot... maybe a mouse that stores in a sloat-loading cd-rom?

Not the worst idea...

So is that a one-click or two-click mouse? :) Hard to tell from the picture...

May not be ergonomic, but looks hella convenient, especially for subnotebooks.

Bart, I wonder if those two grooves are for two fingers? If that's the case, then maybe it's a two-click mouse, somehow (I don't see any buttons at all). But I worry about the strength of the kickstand.

I actually had a chance to try it the buttons are underneath it is a 2 button mouse
and is suprisingly sturdy tres cool

Ergonomic means that the lowest part is where the fingers go, it's not normal for the wrist to bend upward, so the two grooves are for the fingers.

I put condoms in mine. (always practice safe computing)

This is a really cool idea; I hope it is comfortable to use. It looks like it actually plugs into the pin connectors in the slot, so hopefully it charges itself from the slot's power. If it doesn't, that would be a huge oversight. Also hopefully the bluetooth functionality is not as shitty as the last BT mouse that looked good with the powerbook -- the macmice piece of crapola.

I love the idea. Hate the touchpad.
A must have for me and the co pilot.

Its a three button mouse actually. And Yes, it does charge itself while in the slot. I was able to try a prototype and it was pretty comfortable too. Nice product. I cant wait to get my hands on one.
