Mosrite's crutch guitar for gimpy musicians

We still think of Semie Mosley more as the guy who made guitars for the Ventures and Johnny Ramone, but it turns out that the Mosrite founder was good buds with Barbara Mandrell, too. And when the country singer got into a car accident in 1984, Mosley hooked her up with a crutch with a built-in guitar. Given that Mosley built this thing over 20 years ago, we're kinda surprised that it's still a one-of-a-kind item. After all, there are plenty of klutzy — not to mention aging — rock stars out there, and if more of them used one of these, there might just be fewer cancelled tour dates when wielded by the fogey-likes of Keith Richards or Joe Perry.
