JVC Alneo XA-series audio players

These new digital audio players from JVC have all the basic features: MP3/WMA playback, FM radio, line in, OLED display, and a decent form factor (73x17.5x41mm). And they come in seven colors, including "sapphire pink" and "midnight blue." Still, we think JVC might be treading down the wrong path by comparing these to "jewelry." We've all seen the results of previous attempts to market players as stylish fashion accessories, and they're not pretty.

If it doesn't have Ogg Vorbis it's just another pointless MP3 player...

I think apple might have a good reply about just pointless MP3 players. However I would agree that unless the new MP3 players cant provide more than just the standard they will never out compete with Ipods.

if Cowon can do FLAC, so can JVC. FLAC for me.
