Snake to embark on a comic PSP adventure
Solid Snake is returning to comic form, this time in the confines of a UMD. Sounds like BD, 'ey?
According to GameSpot: "Metal Gear Solid Digital Comic (working title) is an interactive comic book-style story from franchise creator Hideo Kojima and producer Noriaki Okamura. Artwork will be provided by Australian comic book artist Ashley Wood," who worked on the Metal Gear Solid comic books.
This non-game approach to a PSP release seems to fit in well with Konami's stated new direction in different forms of media for its most popular properties. But seriously, how many frank come-ons from Snake do you need to make a gritty postmodern comic book disc? [Warning: a bare woman's bottom ahead... don't ask.]
