Proving that there's more to working in South Korea's Ministry of Information and Communication than just building insect-like robot soldiers for surveillance and killing, the department has initiated a pilot program which was designed to prevent, and not cause, people's deaths. Specifically, the agency is outfitting 100 elderly and disabled folks in Daegu City with so-called bioshirts, which as we've seen before, monitor a patient's vital signs and wirelessly signal for help if anything is awry. Called the "U-Healthcare Service," the $1.4 million program is initially targeting senior citizens who live alone, as well as patients with chronic ailments, and also provides options for running self-diagnostics, enabling remote monitoring, and even rudimentary medical consultations. whilst in the UK they just rot and get bed sores from neglect.
foreal though... korea's going to take over the world with all their robots and elderly folk with bio suit armor. it's only the start... soon babies will have plasma rifles.

I swear, sometimes it just feels like watching the sci-fi channel. I mean "insect-like robot soldiers for surveillance and killing", "bioshirts"...
I also have the feeling that the technology evolves towards evil in the same manner that it evolves towards good, thus it's just like not evolving at all.
i have heard before about the insects (they recharge with the waves of AC) but these bio-shirts are a great idea, they could be used to monitor babies and so.
yeah technology evolves more but for the wrong reasons, and if people still allowed to keep creating new stuff the world will get much worse
