We dropped by JVC land at Pepcom's little get together yesterday for a glimpse at their new iPod stereo lineup. Nothing really knocked our socks off, but the NX-PS1 and UX-EP25 weren't too shabby looking. Like we said before, all that really sets these apart from your average USB-pluggable player is that "Made for iPod" sticker, but for barebones amplification action, we suppose these will do. Geez how lame! Why can't manufacturers who put USB flash mem stick support on their boxes put them in a more elegant place like in a recessed cutout or something? The way the flash mem device sticks out, it just begs to be tweaked or broken off (especially in that boombox.)
Shiny white plastic just cries 'dorm room'. They should come with the duct tape and a roach-burn on top of one of the speakers so that you have the junior year look right away.
