Sony churns out 3,000,000 made in Japan LCDs
Sony has been cranking out the LCDs over that last few years. So much in fact that the main manufacturing plant just spit out its 3,000,000ith LCD last week. This factory has been in the Sony family since 1969 when the Trinitron was king but LCDs are now on top of the mountain. At one time this was Sony's main factory for worldwide LCD distribution but now only handles the Asian and South Pacific market ever since the demand for LCDs outgrew what this place could handle. We don't see the demand slowing anytime soon and Sony might just double the 3 million mark soon than they expected.
