Ok, so no sooner do we post up
Archpartners' concept for what the "iPad" might look like than a tipster writes in to lets us know that Fscklog has what is supposedly an "official" rendering of the world's first (and hopefully last) iPod-inspired building. It's hard to tell for sure whether this is James Law Cybertecture International's final design for the building or just another concept, but one thing we do know is that this latest version looks like it's a little more Tetris-inspired than iPod-inspired.
As corny as I thought the actual iPod rendition was, I'm almost sad that it might not actually look like that.
I hope they don't make the buildings lean like an iPod in it's dock. I would feel uneasy in a building like that no matter how confident the engineers are.
Yawn. Another post about iPod inspired buildings. Lame. Wake me up when it's over. Zzzzzz.
I still have to ask why? what is the point? Do people really want to say, "hey! I live in an iPod". Next there will be a Zune building that is aware of other zune buildings, of which there are none. But if there were other Zune buildings would anyone care? Does the iPod building block out any kind of bluetooth signal?
Cool pic, stupid idea lol
found some more pics here...

This is the final design as they already displayed a model at the Cityscape expo in Dubai.
Here's the link I posted in the other topic with pictures of the model:

For some reason, when I look at this building I think Nokia and their batteries.
@Daryl
I agree 100%
Lame attempt at publicity - by the time it's done the iPod might be another display in the museum of fads.
the shapes on the surface sorta remind me of the nokia fashion phones honestly. all the rounded rects and all. like the 7280 7270 etc.
tron towers?
