New Red Faction game announced

Last February, THQ offhandedly mentioned that their Red Faction series is one of the six franchises they were working on. Today, during their quarterly earning reports, the head of THQ officially announced the development of a new Red Faction title. No additional details were announced, but considering that the previous two Red Faction titles were on the PS2, it's reasonable to assume that the PS3 will be getting another dose of geo-deformation Total Recall-esque fun. We'll have more information as soon as we get it!
