VC Monday Madness video wrap-up 4/30/07

As with last week, our attempt at making you all more intelligent shoppers though our VC Monday Madness coverage continues. Above, we've got a nice little video for you, and past the post break is none other than our established picture and text coverage of the week's offerings. So, without further delay, make your choice! We're glad to inform you that either decision you make will be a good one.

Shockman (TurboGrafx16, 1-2 players, 600 Wii Points)
Wii Fanboy says: do not download

While its heart is in the right place, this Mega Man clone manages to take inspiration from Capcom's franchise's faults. We found that Shockman is fairly monotonous and not all that fun. We wanted to enjoy the title, especially having never played it when it released on the TurboGrafx16 back in the day, but we just couldn't.

Castlevania (NES, 1 player, 500 Wii Points)
Wii Fanboy says: download it!

Sure, the possibility of you owning this game in some other form is high, but we feel the classic is worth owning nonetheless. For only $5 bucks, you can have a piece of gaming history on your Wii and we suggest you sign up as soon as possible. Dracula isn't going to vanquish himself, y'know!

The Legend of the Mystical Ninja (Super NES, 1-2 players, 800 Wii Points)
Wii Fanboy says: download it!

This game is amazing. Seriously, it's funny, challenging and as deep as they come during that generation. With a huge game world to explore and co-op gameplay, we'd have to say you're stone cold nuts if you do not download this game. In fact, we're watching your house right now and if you don't make with the downloading, we're sending the gentleman in the white paddywagon to come pick you up.

As always, if you have any tips or rumors regarding Nintendo's Virtual Console service, be sure to let us know and come back next week when we take a look at the latest titles available on the Nintendo Wii.
