Samsung Yepp K3 gets colorful GUI, as do current owners

So apparently the current version of the Samsung Yepp K3 only offers users a rather drab blue interface for navigating through menus, and with so many other colors in the rainbow to choose from, it's kind of sad that the "illegally sleek" player doesn't take advantage of them. Well turn those frowns upside down, K3 fans, because not only is Samsung giving the flash-based model a minor bump that enables multicolor displays, a forthcoming firmware update will bring the same cheery palette to current owners. Doesn't look like much else has changed here, with no capacity increases or additional features of note; we guess that until Apple adds video or wireless to the nano, Samsung -- unlike SanDisk -- feels it can rest on its laurels a bit.
so.. um when does the 8 Gig version arrive?
Daw, why can't they release a coupl'a colour diplays for the K5, well, colour GUI's.
may look nice, buy with no tactile feedback its not very usable
I'm hoping for a future firmware adding ogg support.
I bought this product and returned it. I kind of gave up immediately with it, and I bought a nano instead. from my basic lookings around, there seemed to be NO equalizer support, and no fast forwarding through a track. well there was fast forwarding, but only in five second increments, which renders a long track un-seekable. and it is thoroughly junk for audiobooks or podcasts too. MAJOR flaws.
turned heads though. A beautiful product.

Someone please help! I downloaded this past firmware update. Now, my screen is screwed up the screen says “Invalid image size". Then, the screen turns a tannish color and i see a black shape where the battery meter is suppossed to be. I can still listen to music fine but the problem is without sound I have no idea what I'm listening to and I can't choose what I am going to listen to either. How do I fix this problem or delete the update all together?
