So we've never seen this so-called Shredmaster V wireless guitar controller from China's E-Core Technology before, but from what we can tell from the FCC documents, it looks to be your standard third-party PlayStation 2 Rock Band axe. Price? Release date? Ha, couldn't tell ya; maybe a long-distance call to Shenzen City will clear things up.

It looks more like a Rock Band axe. Note the extra buttons.

Ah. Well, you know what they say--a picture is worth a thousand words; time is money; etc. Thanks for the clarification. I was waiting for the Cliff's Notes.

I swear I just saw this on an endcap in Walmart yesterday.
I believe it was even called the Shredmaster and I decided I didn't want to pick it up because it looked cheap. But it was wireless also, and only for the PS2...

Of course Art Lebedev will design one with a button for every note that can be played.
And it will be OLED so it can change it's tune if you want to.

And by the way,
The extra buttons are for people with smaller hands, nothing else!

It comes in both wired and wireless flavored.
The hammer is clear with a blue LED.
It has a sort of a S-Video looking output on the bottom.
And you did see it at Walmart, it is in stores.
It is called the Shredmaster.
There is also the Shredmaster Jr. which is a miniature guitar with a knockoff of Guitar Hero Built in. (It connects to your tv through component cables.)

oh my god,
this is in fact made by my dads company, DreamGear LLC.
i am not joking, this is amazing, i am going to forward this page to him.
It is only a Guitar Hero II controller for the PS2, so dont get your hopes up.
Microsoft wont give them a license because of prior situations.
