Grab bag #1 coincides with first substantial Warhammer Online patch

Mythic Entertainment has long had a series of articles they call "Grab Bags" running on the Dark Age of Camelot site. The regular series answers questions directly from the players, making sure that even the most arcane and technical elements of gameplay are addressed to players' satisfaction. The very first Grab Bag for Mythic's newly launched Warhammer Online touches on a number of topics. Players want to know:

  • How can you gain and lose City Rank?

  • How do you get rest XP?

  • Do alts in your guild slow down guild leveling?

All these and more are addressed in the WAR Herald's first Grab Bag. The Herald also reports on the game's first substantive patch! There have been a number of hotfixes to the game since launch last week, but a just-released tweak to the game fixes and changes a few Warhammer components under the hood. Player positions in server queues are now saved, for example. The bolster buff has been removed from the Kadrin's Valley RvR lake on Open-RvR servers, and Tactic Trainers have been temorarily disabled inside the capital cities.

Get details on all these changes, plus answers to the Grab Bag questions, over at the Warhammer Herald.
