Penny Arcade duo to appear at 2009 New York Comic Con
No longer content with their fans in Seattle, Penny Arcade's Mike "Gabe" Krahulik and Jerry "Tycho" Holkins are heading to the East Coast where all the really cool nerds hang out. PAX East is still quite a ways off, but there will be another opportunity to meet the webcomic duo in 2009: at NY Comic Con.
New York Comic Con will take place from February 6-8 next year and promises an expanded focus on gaming, with companies such as 2K Games, Activision, Codemasters, EA, Epic, Konami and Ubisoft all participating in the show's festivities. The convention is being planned by Reed Exhibitions, the same folks that are also handling PAX East. Conspiracy? Perhaps. But don't think too hard -- do you really want to mess with these guys?
