Tangent's Cinque radio does DAB and more on your tabletop
Looking for something with a hint of style to take up that empty expanse that is your bedside table? Peer no further than Tangent's Cinque, which offers up DAB, FM and AM radio tuning within a compact (and fairly attractive) package. Besides pulling tunes from thin air, this unit also plays nice with CDs and any ole DAP you've got stuffed in your underused gadgets drawer courtesy of the built-in 3.5-millimeter auxiliary jack. Furthermore, you can set the alarm to wake you with music, and just in case you're not really feeling the hue shown above, it's also available in walnut, black and red for £239.99 ($478).

Wow. I really don't need that level of fidelity to wake up to. The annoying klaxon my wife snoozes for me does just fine.

Blimey. I'm on the lookout for a decent looking clock/radio thingy; but that thing is damn expensive. Half a monkey for that? I'd buy 2 if it was under a tonne.

Excuse me, Engadget, I am from central casting. We have reports that one of our missing stereotypical "dudes from England" was seen here using words like "tonne" and "half a monkey". If he passes through here again could you please beat his limey ass and give us a call? Thanks

I have the Tangent Internet WiFi radio, I absolutely love it and it looks so cool too!

DAB is dead...
(will be closed down in Germany, while it's outdated and may drop in UK as well, although it was much more widespread there)
