RAmos' Mumu iPearl aims for the female heart
You know, we kind of like the approach here. Rather than just dousing one of its current players in pink and calling it fit for a female, RAmos decided to really investigate the true desires of our lady friends. The Mumu iPearl is an elusive white-framed PMP with no obvious buttons, though the entire interface is delightfully pink. Here's where the company goes wrong, though -- it totally fails to mention any specifications whatsoever, acting as if that August release date is the only thing gadget-loving dames will care to know. We'd say you've still got some growing up to do, RAmos.[Via PMPToday]

Clever. Kind of like "I'm not going to post an apple comment, just remind others to do so. This way I have all the fun and none of the shame."

I went to the park and I sat under a bridge that looked like an EYE. I thought to myself, AYE! Thats a great big EYE. I digress.

Notice how much better the iPhone is than this? I mean, it works for men AND women. Also, it's made by Apple. Clearly it's the winner. It doesn't matter what the contest is, it's just the winner. It wins.

Breaking News: Females Have Hearts?
mrpoo @ Aug 5th 2008 4:13PM
If I were a girl, this is all I would need to hear. Of course, if I were a girl, I would stand in front of a mirror naked all the time. Perhaps I don't really understand the female mind as well as I thought I did.

Or perhaps it may be your fascination with fecal matter, Mr. Poo.

I have voted every comment in this thread down. Because it deserved it. Seriously.
Have a blessed day.

they'll quit making em pink when women quit buying em in pink.
Wwhat @ Aug 6th 2008 3:01AM
No they won't.
Mag Li @ Aug 5th 2008 6:33PM
I am a girl, and the last thing I wanted to see is yet an other gadget aimed at females that is pink.
Amy Starstruck @ Aug 5th 2008 7:31PM
It is really cute. I'll give 'em that... But hey, yea! Girls do love gadgets too, people. I'm a tech geek all the way from head to toe and I would never buy crap.
They don't give me really cool specs, I give 'em the finger. Easy deal.
Halifan @ Aug 5th 2008 7:44PM

Anonymous Coward @ Aug 5th 2008 11:18PM

el-lobo @ Sep 21st 2008 4:26PM
great name:Mumu is german child language for the female genital. Then again the color is already fine.
"The batteries in my Mumu are empty again..."
