Progress is beautiful, is it not? Just shy of two years ago, Corsair blew minds with its ruggedized
16GB Flash Voyager, built to withstand all but the nastiest of drops and hold oodles of quarterly reports for a mere $299. Earlier this year, we saw the
capacity double up and the price fall to just $229. Now, the bootable drive has been bloated further with a full 64GB of space, only this one's available right now for just a buck ninety-nine. Dollars to donuts we'll see a 128GB version in under 12 months for around $150, but don't let that sway your purchasing decision or anything.

Holy mama
If the trend holds true, I'll wait for the 1TB for free :)
maybe then you can put a pair of .doc on it....
And by the time you finish writing to it, they'll have the 5GB model out.
He said 1TB not 1GB.
reading comprehension ftw!
640k should be more than enough memory for anyone
Yea, if you were a CAVEMAN! Ahhhhhhhahahahahahahaha! Ok, stop.

"Dollars to donuts"..... do people actually say this?
Mmmm, donuts.
mmmmmm dollar$$$
That shape is darn suggestive.
Perhaps they are giving suggestions for possible hiding spots? not that there is anything wrong with it
it looks more like a hot dog & bun.
my favorite move.
I don't see it. And trust me, I have a pretty sick mind.
how could you NOT see it? it practically RESEMBLES an italian sausage! ;)
Let's wait until the price drops :)
Is the length of the stick increased or is it just me? I had the 1GB version, but this thing looks much longer...
"Is the length of the stick increased or is it just me? I had the ..., but this thing looks much longer..."
That's what she said.
Maybe there is something to be said for responding to all that spam.
from $189.99 thru amazon
Great! now I can consolidate all my Pron drives into one huge collection...
;D
You must have a very small harddick. I mean harddisk.
I think he's implying his having solid state dic... I mean, disks. Why do or would you use flash drives for storing that kind of 'data?'
Man, if they can put all that into a jump drive for 199, why can't Apple scrap the iPod classic and put flash in there? And make a 64 GB iPod touch. Once the touch crosses the 64 GB mark, then they will have my money...
These things, especially the GT versions are faster than most people's harddives.
Have you tried the 16GB GT? It's incredibly slow since they've changed to MLC
it looks like dick
Thanks for clearing up all the 'suggestive shape' comments, I was getting confused.
ok. you guys can stop drooling now.
I like the size and the price, but why does it have to be so ugly. And can't they make a usb memory stick that has a retractible cap. Need to spend a little money on the case...that is fugly.
kingston 8G around $20 and corsair(?) 16G $25 after 25 MIR from newegg, good enough for me for now.
are you kidding me? Transcend's 64GB were released a month ago
USB drives have finally become large enough and cheap enough that they can be used as bootable OSs. Now, if only it were straightforward to make OSs bootable on USB drives...
If anyone has good info for creating USB bootable Vista, XP, OSX, Linux, etc. I would appreciate it.

But will it run...
It's no...
Ooh, cake!
in fact, this is on sale at Newegg for $179.99 after rebate.
a seemingly impossible to turn down deal = $19.99 (after rebate) for 16gb Corsair - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233042
So big, it has its own flash drive on a chain.
And yet you can still lose the cap.
Harkonian: I have the 16G and I want to do that, a SINGLE Boot I think you can just copy over not sure.
I need a step by step for a USB with
Multiple OS (winall + linux)
Apps (repair programs + office and other "normal" stuff)
Virus scanner (run from and install)
I have Quick menu builder but I must be stupid since I can seem to figure it out
Portable SSD Backup FTW... not that an SSD needs backing up... :P
Looks like a penis squeezed into a vagina.
Subliminal flash stick...
Soo.... why are SSD's so expensive, then?
