Wow, don't use CDMA but thats not a bad choice. esp. for US cell.
How hard is it to beat the specs on a Verizon phone? I am sick of hearing about Verizon getting a new phone only to find out they are cutting back on things like the memory....sigh
"$249.95 on contract after mail-in rebate"
surely that price will fall quickly
wake me up when the tp2 comes to the US
This is ridicolous!
Don't let yourself be ripped off (once again) american friends.
In my little scandinavian homeland the TP has been sold for years and since last summer, (when the TouchHD became widely available) nobody buys it anymore.
The Touch Pro 2 , will be offered this june on a 6 months contract (after which the phone is unlocked and you're free) for a cheaper price than the Touch Pro 1 is pushed to american consumers.
Kilgore, the problem is that those unlocked phones in Europe won't work with US Cellular.
Remember, US Cellular is a regional carrier on CDMA. So forget any of those GSM phones and forget getting the phone until the big carriers either pass on it or have their exclusitivity finished. One good thing with US Cellular (I used to be with them), in their home markets the coverage is great. I just travel to much to use them anymore.
This is good for US Cellular customers, I don't think they have a phone like this.
