Papercraft NES and Dreamcast cost less, play just as many cutting edge games
Finally, your lovingly prepared SNES model is getting some well-heeled new friends to hang out with. Cubeecraft is a website wholly dedicated to the paper-based recreation of cultural icons, and it's prepared a pair of exquisitely detailed clones of the NES and Dreamcast. While some such projects might require patience and finesse, putting together the above templates doesn't even ask for any glue or tape. So what are you waiting for, grab your scissors and run to the links below for full 150dpi printouts -- just be sure to make the time for some imaginary Contra action afterwards.

"play just as many cutting edge games"
Ohhhhhh BURN!
Cutting edge as in made after the 90s?
lawls.
i think you both missed the punchline...
i still have that nintendo -_- but not the dreamcast heh
Must everybody explain their jokes to you two?
seriously i can hear the music to this fantastic (so, so memorably cheatable it sorta stands for our whole generation) game...
wow i don't know if anyone will get what i'm trying to say but there have to be more people out there like me and my friends =-]
HURR HURR Engadget
I wonder how many people are going to use these, stuff the box with bricks and sell them dirt cheap as the actual console?
Thirty bucks :)
I SEE WAT U DID DAR!!!
i see what you did there engadget
I taught myself how to type on a Dreamcast. :)
Typing of the Dead!
That must of been a unique experience.
Mad Respect.
LOL
I miss my dreamcast.
You can visit it at my local GoodWill.
This papercraft is as awesome as it is old news. (Very)
That pun was utterly amusing, bravo...
Its The Botany Bay!
Wow! Obscure!
Sadly, I'm going to download this and build it.
Papercraft has caught my fancy for some weird reason.
Hmm... I smell lawsuit. If McDonalds can get sued for not putting hot on their coffees, Engadget can get sued for telling people to run with scissors :)
It's tiny when you make it! But I still love it nonetheless!

Print it on bigger paper!
Picture looks like UV-mapping... no...
is it just me or was the dreamcast the best system ever. those remotes and memory cards were sweet...plus who didn't like Seaman.
Kind of sad, cubeecraft has been on my bookmark toolbar for ages, I would think that someone in the engadget office would at least be watching this as well and wouldn't have had to scrape this off of another news site. If anything I would of rather had a link to Fx Consoles paper crafts and o hey technabob did an article on that one too so you can scrape that from them as well.
i would consider making these
