judging from the mold flashing and finger nail dents on those white spheres I'd say its a lot more likely they are Styrofoam beads than rocks.

Not sure if anyone else noticed this (my guess is 'no' because of the previous comments), but those "rocks" couldn't represent your "nuts", as they're placed on the backrest of the chair. That's right, it's been laid down to SHOW you the vibrations you would feel on your back (key word there, you might want to write that one down). Some of you might respond with, "That's stupid, why would they lay it down!" Well, b/c it'd be harder to get objects to bounce off the backrest otherwise (I'm not going to go into the mechanics of physics and gravity, as I'm sure most Engadget readers are smart enough to understand this concept). Just thought I'd bring to attention before others start making judgements on this chair (though I did like Matt's comment - you get an 'E' for effort).
