I'm not bothering to watch Lost until all the seasons are available on Blu-ray. I don't like waiting around for more episodes, instead of just watch a ton at a time.
@Jeff Kibuule
Then you dont know what your missing .
@Jeff Kibuule
Me too! Well, I don't care about BluRay, but I'm waiting for the boxed-set, so I can blast through the whole thing in a week. I've listened to people for years agonizing over cliffhangers and plot twists on that show, which just reaffirms my desire to watch it as one big chunk.
Why is this a question Lost hands down then 24 and last but not least the chuck 2.0 .
What's this nonsense about Lost? I stopped watching it midway through season 2. Is it really that good?! I'm going for 24! =)
Jack Bauer = the american hero, not even batman! heh...
@Krazie
Season 2 was really good. It was Season 3 and beyond that got really really dumb. The show was good because there were so many mysteries on the island, and they decided to introduce the "Others" and went with really lame drama us vs them instead of just strange things everywhere.
Waiting on Chuck here though I am also excited about Southland coming back.
I still haven't even started 24 from last season yet.
@brennok: Southland was canceled by NBC. Last I heard TNT might pick it up but it appears that fell through also?
@(Unverified) According to http://www.thefutoncritic.com/showatch.aspx?id=southland TNT will begin airing Southland on January 12th. This may only be the 6 filmed episodes for season 2 though.
24 and Idol are still on the air?
I'm waiting on Psych, Burn Notice and Leverage... yeaaa i like those off network shows... Lost im excited for, but ill wait a while so i can watch them in bunches too...
@andyg8180
Psych = best show ever.
@andyg8180 - BURN NOTICE! YES!
@andyg8180
more shawn and gus is a good thing .
is this even a question? Of course it's Lost! Duh!
Burn notice has my vote, amazing show.
Chuck 2.0 and 24 are my two most anticipated shows.
Chuck. Definitely Chuck.
Lost has lost its way. 24 is no longer original. AI is no longer exciting. The other shows mentioned just aren't appealing to me.
@deej
are you sure you watch tv ?
I can't decide whether I'm more excited about Lost or Chuck.
Forget winter premieres, I want House and Heroes and Fringe back.
Lost could be good if the writers give us something better than last year. Jumping back and forth between the past and the present was just confusing. Chuck with some serious powers is also a wise move and give the writers some good ammunition.
watch Lost LIVE. DVR 24 and Chuck. will check out Human Target.
Even though I voted for 24... Lost really turned things around last season... much much better than the previous...
House, Office, Parks and Rec, SVU. Someone mentioned Southland- can't wait for that to start up again.
Never seen an episode of Lost or 24. Their commercials never convinced me to watch either of the shows. I quit watching Chuck early in to Season 2. I'd rather watch House over anything else. No TiVo means no Chuck.
Lost and 24 are really crack in disguise, and there will be a HUGE void in the TV landscape when these shows check out for good (both are ending in May 2010). I'd say Lost is remarkable because few shows can claim an average of 11 million viewers over a six-year period for an overarching mystery AFTER a writers' strike and long hiatus. That killed the momentum of other great shows like Jericho. Plus, it's had to contend with Idol.
For the doubters, fire up your 360 and add the seasons to your Netflix "Watch Instantly" queue. You won't leave the house!
For me it's LOST, 24, Chuck 2.0, then Burn Notice. They're all pretty amazing shows though, Lost is the only one I'll watch live.
who the hell watches lost, i watched a few episodes got ... well... lost are they on the island or in the city wtf is going on
I gave up on 24 because it started to feel too much like an infomercial for the DHS... all it needed was a "call your congressman and tell him to vote for freedom and safety" pitch at the end.
I liked Chuck because he was an anti-hero, someone who didn't want the role he was thrust into. Unfortunately the season ender had him willingly taking on that role. Also the tension between Chuck and Sara is basically gone. There's no way to resolve that, so that storyline is ended too. I'll watch, but it won't be the show I enjoyed.
Forgive me, but I should've written "Fire up whatever Netflix-enabled device you own..." Not everyone uses a 360 to do this. : )
No mention of Damages or Big Love? Madness.
ughhh i wish lost would get lost.
however go chuck!!! this show is great
Whenever I hear people give negative opinions about lost its either because they're too impatient or they try and start in the middle of the show. Its really not that hard of a show to follow, guys. I rewatched the first 3 seasons when I got my wife to watch it and I could answer most questions that she had about it. They give us more than you think.
LOST LOST LOST LOST LOST LOST LOST LOST LOST LOST LOST LOST LOST LOST LOST LOST
24, Big Love, and Caprica (Hopefully it will be good. The Pilot was better than I expected.)
