HTC EVO 4G found loitering in Sprint store

It's not the biggest of pictures -- the PPCGeeks forum poster says he shot this with his Touch Pro 2 -- but what we're looking at is allegedly the HTC EVO 4G. Wish we could have a better look, but who knows, maybe some lucky contest winner in the next few weeks will have a decent DSLR handy.[Thanks, Rigo]

that would be swell. I'm excited about the Evo mainly for Sprint, but H/Palm better get that C40 out soon, and it better be good.

Are the folks that take these pics so nervous/excited that they can't hold a camera still or take a second shot? An 8MP camera is worthless if you can't hold it steady.
@FaceOfGenius with the good cameras that are on phones now you think just one time somebody could get an in focus shot just put your phone on vibrate pretend like your texting and boom ...
@lelander True. I wish someone could go back to that corporate store and take a good pic. Wholly cow though!!!! The EVO should be here soon!!! I can't wait til the 12th. That will be when we know about release date, prices, and plans for this freakin' awesome phone. EVO 4G (the real 4G phone) FTW!!!

Is that why you are on commenting on this artical? Secretly you want an Android phone so you post negative comments on Android articals to try to convince yourself that iPhone is better than the ever improving Android OS and Android phones. Just accept that you are in denial and really want the EVO 4G ,(the real 4G phone) and maybe you won't be such a hater. Until then, have fun with your limited, outdated and boring iPhone.

Not so great for me.
I have had an HD2 since last september and I'm still deeply in love with it, so when a couple of weeks ago I bought a new HTC Desire (in exchange of my old Hero) I realized that I could'nt get rid of it, and I am now carrying 2 phones (most of the times) one for work and one for private use.
Now that this EVO has hit the streets what am I supposed to do?
Carry 3 phones? Or maybe renounce to my new Desire wich is TEH most amazing device I have ever come across ? (and I did come across quite a few ones...).
I decided that I'm gonna stick with the HD2 until I can grab an equivalent device running win7 series, but what about my new Desire?
It's been a real joy to use since day 1, is it really worth pgrading to this newfangled EVO?

Interesting....Sprint needs to create more buzz about this device..
I mean even though I'm an AT&T guy the one thing we can all agree on is that Verizon's "droid" marketing push has been pretty stellar so far. Not talking about actual results but as far as getting the name and the brand out there? Perfection IMO.
IF Sprint had any clue they'd be doing the same thing...

@TheRogueFFAngel Yeah i agree. BUT suprisingly enough, the word is getting out some how.... I just found out that 4 of my friends plan to get this device day-of, and two of them are girls who are way out of the tech loop most of the time! so they found out somehow ^_^
@Myst3ry// the issue is that hardcore geeks know about these types of devices cause we look for them. But for your average user, a very good marketing campaign is what attracts them to the stores. I.e. droid, iPhone, bb storm and so on.

@TheRogueFFAngel Well hopefully when it comes out, they'll start commercializing it a bit more. Since Sprint turned down the IPhone twice and is now the company in the big three that doesn't have one, people start to switch. Because people want IPhones and aren't educated enough to see there are other phones! And this one pwns.
