One Shots: Love for Landroval

The players really seem to love Lord of the Rings Online's Landroval server, where so many different live role-playing events go on. Dancing, music, games, and more can be found -- and not just in pubs, either! Today's One Shots comes to us from Lennidhren of Landroval and shows off one of the many events that seem to crop up on the server. Lennidhren writes:

"I love Lord of the Rings Online's Landroval server for all the creative player-run events that one can attend. On Monday, I attended an Elven festival called Tarin Austa, or the Gates of Summer. The kinship Mar Vanwa Tyalieva hosted this celebration of the first sunrise of summer, at which those gathered awaited the sunrise to the accompaniment of music from Mar Vanwa Tyalieva's talented band. After welcoming the sun, we continued the celebration with music, dancing, and tales of the creation of the Sun and Moon as written by Tolkien. The screenshot attached captures the first rays of light as the sun cleared the eastern horizon, with players watching from the precipice and MVT gathered behind us to play."

Calling all MMO players! We need your screenshots for One Shots. If you've seen anything fun, imposing, interesting, or silly, we want to hear from you. If you haven't, gather up your group of friends and do something, then send some screens of that in. All MMOs -- from large-budget to tiny indie games, and East to West -- are welcome. Send them to us here at oneshots AT massively DOT com along with your name/server/game and a quick description of what we're seeing. Reader submissions keep One Shots running, so send some in today!
