Facebook for Android updated with more awesome
If there's one app you've probably got installed on your smartphone -- regardless of platform -- it's Facebook, so when a new version comes out with significant new functionality, it's usually a pretty big deal. On that note, we've got a new build for Android this evening that features a "photo reel" on the home screen giving you live updates from your news feed, integrated video playback, support for events, and the ability to respond to friend requests without going through the Herculean task of actually leaving the app. The update's been posted in the Market, so grab it -- then make sure your privacy settings are on the up and up, won't you?
