WRUP: What is best in life?

Every week, just at the start of the weekend, we catch up with the WoW Insider staff and ask them, "What are you playing this week?" (Otherwise known as: WRUP!) Join us to see what we're up to in and out of game -- and catch us in the comments to let us know what you're playing, too!

We're in the midst of another weekend, which means it's time for another WRUP. We've also returned to the bonus question format because gosh darn it, bonus questions are fun. This week's bonus question comes from a raidmate of mine: What is best in life, WoW Insider?

Alex Ziebart (@alexziebart): I've been pretty strung out recently, so I'll likely spend a fair chunk of my weekend unwinding with Mass Effect 2. Seriously, no matter how many times I play through the game, I don't get tired of it. Wiping the floor with the Blue Suns gets no less satisfying with each subsequent playthrough. The game is my go-to stress reliever. Mmmm. What's best in life? The first night back in your own bed after a long trip, that feeling of being home again.
Allison Robert (@AllisonRobert): Going to a local fair with a friend, more dungeons and heroics on the beta, and some video capture if my computer's in a good mood. What is best in life? A good meal, a good book, sitting on the porch in nice weather with family and friends, travel, and arriving home to discover that somebody else already cleaned the bathroom.
Anne Stickney (@Shadesogrey): Writing, as always -- and trying to get my hands on that silly ZG tiger. Best in life? Coffee. Lots and lots and lots of coffee.

Basil Berntsen (@outdps): I'll be hosting a somewhat large gathering of adults for my kid's second birthday. Also podcasting.
Chase Christian (@madsushi): My guild will be pouring more attempts into heroic Lich King 10, and hopefully we'll get closer to a kill. We've also got a chance at completing our first Shadowmourne, if we get a bit lucky with shards. Bonus: Being right.
Daniel Whitcomb (@danielwhitcomb): More Cataclysm beta heroics, plus riding around on my ultra-cool Goblin Trike on my beta goblin hunter. I'm also working on collecting more true cards on Recettear. This time, I'm after Nagi's. And as for what is best in life? A rainy weekend with no responsibilities, a fridge full of beer, and a good selection of games, books, and music to keep me company.
Eli Khoury (@Jagoex): After pounding more numbers out of the PTR, I will be enjoying a much-needed break from the work-filled norm and taking advantage of unseasonably and crazy warm weather we've been having lately. Lots of sun, water, sand, and a family to enjoy all of that goodness with -- I think that's best in life right there.
Elizabeth Wachowski (@leeatwaterlives): Finishing up Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep and replaying Fallout 3 prior to the New Vegas release. What is best in life? Doing something that matters and making the world a better place.
Fox Van Allen (@foxvanallen): What I'll be doing: Flying to Philly for my friend's (and ex-guildmate's) house warming party. Same ol' arrhythmic dancing; brand new city to do it in. What I'll be playing: I'm currently taking suggestions for iPhone games for the plane ride home. What's best in life: That feeling you get when the turtle shell takes out the 8,000-point goomba with the 1-UP goomba clearly in sight.
Gregg Reece: I've been doing some pen-and-paper gaming with playtesting a new class for Pathfinder RPG. As for this weekend, I'm probably going to hop on the beta and go dungeon running.
Joe Perez (@Lodurzj): ICC10 achievement run Saturday, Borderlands with some Claptrap DLC goodness and seeing the Toasters on Sunday. Bonus: What is best in life? To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of their women.
Kelly Aarons (@Cadistra): I'll be on a maddening art spree, fueled by little sleep and much caffeine. I have comics, BlizzCon work, T-shirt designs, and business cards to make! I'll try and get some WoW in. I've had a productive week of mounts, so I'm not sure what I'll do just yet. What is best in life, you ask? I could say something clever about "crushing enemies" and "lamenting women," but I'll settle for good friends, good tea, video games and comics.
Lisa Poisso (@emused): I have no idea WIRP this weekend -- and that's a glorious thing ... You could say that an unpredictable weekend of R&R just might be one of the best things in life.
Matt Low (@matticus): Working. I'll just plain be working. Either its going to be school or work. I just finished the launch of my new design for World of Matticus. (Check it out if you haven't seen it!) Actually, maybe I'll catch up on sleep. Somewhere along the way, my sleeping hours have gradually reduced.
Mathew McCurley (@gomatgo): Saturday is hanging with friends, Sunday is writing. What is best in life? Family, friends and food.
Matthew Rossi (@matthewwrossi): I'm going back and playing the original KOTOR. My answer to the bonus question is: "The mere acquisition of knowledge does not make one a god." I love Kull of Valusia so much.
Rich Maloy (@stoneybaby): On Saturday night, Big Crits and Seven from Raid Warning are teaming up to live stream an ICC25 drake run. Grab a beer and come hang out with the Big Crits raiders at http://livestream.com/bigcrits starting Saturday night at 8:00 p.m. EST. RSVP here. Best in life? I'm a "it's in the journey" kind of guy. I've always found new experiences to be the most fulfilling. I'm happiest when I'm chasing big, big dreams and experiencing all that life has to offer.
Robin Torres (@cosmiclaurel): WoW, Words with Friends and not Civ 5 since I don't have it yet and I'm very sad about that and waaaaah! Bonus: Knowing you've helped just one person and Nutella.
Sarah Nichol (@mentalshaman): I've been 5-manning Naxx 10 for fun and profit; it feels so similar to the old long dungeons of vanilla, when done with a competent, at-level group. Other than that, I've been pushing to 85 on my dwarf (!) shaman on the Cataclysm beta and testing and checking shaman on the PTR. Finally, I am trying to justify buying Dragon Age: Origins, because too much WoW and no other games make Sarah something something. The best things in life? Tea on crisp autumnal morning, the moment my partner stops snoring, the first hug of the day, and a whole night of random WoW madness with my friends.
Zach Yonzon (@Battlemasters): Battlegrounds and Cataclysm beta battlegrounds. Maybe leveling through the battlegrounds, too. I haven't honestly devoted any real time to playing WoW, but since Patch 4.0.x keeps threatening to drop, I need to shake off all that rust. As for the bonus question:

The weekend is the perfect time to kick back, relax and enjoy some game time. Are you an achievement junkie? Can't get enough raiding? Rolling a new alt? Considering taking the leap into roleplaying? Whatever your favorite way to play World of Warcraft, let us know in the comments what you're playing this weekend!
