Stories and a poll are after the break.

Josh Myers
as Clergelam

In the past, I've complained about Clergelam's Kezan adventures being overtly evil, with her complicity in the Troll slave trade and her loan sharking. After that, I didn't find Clergelam to be a sympathetic character during her adventures in Lost Isles, since she might have accidentally depopulated an entire pygmy culture and slain an entire ecosystem of local fauna with her weed-whacker belt.

By now, I'm finding myself desensitized to the destruction and horror that Clergelam's quest chains wreak on the local environment. So, when I got to Azshara at the bequest of Warchief Anger Management Problems and found myself tasked with murdering the local wildlife and cutting down ancient trees for lumber, my initial response was "Is that all?"

Of course, that wasn't all. It's never all. See, Clergelam's ecological terrorism caught the attention of Captain Planet and the Planeteers ... err, I mean, the local Night Elf population, which are the closest thing.

Normally, I have no qualms with killing Night Elves. I love killing Night Elves. In fact, while I have rules against ganking lower-level characters, I take a particular pleasure in breaking those rules and ganking any Night Elves who have variations of Drizzt in their names. But, there's a difference between killing Night Elf hunters named after fantasy characters that I hate and killing environmental activists. One is totally forgivable; the other just makes you a terrible person.

Unfortunately, by this point in her leveling experience, Clergelam's behavior has me feeling sort of numb. I was hoping hitting level 12 and leaving the Goblin starting area would help her be a better person, but Azshara was not where I needed to go for that to happen. Maybe she needs to spend the next few levels in prison. Or a convent. She's a priest -- it could work!

Orgrimmar

Roblinator the Goblinator

Roblinator and friends were called upon to fight many evil Orcs in Hellfire Ramparts. Red Orcs. Lots of red Orcs. We slaughtered them all.

Honestly, I forget why we did it. The whole orange place is very confusing. The Orcs send us to kill other Orcs. And one of them wears a mask. One of the Orcs that sends us to kill other Orcs, that is. And then when we returned from these ramparts, they said it wasn't enough and there would be more we'll have to kill.

So we left. We got on our pretty new flying mounts and flew to a pretty place with huge pretty mushrooms. That is where we'll be questing this week.

Next week will be PVP again.
