The Queue: Missed a spot
Welcome back to The Queue, the daily Q&A column in which the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft.
I was playing my little goblin warlock yesterday and came across some too-solid lines in the middle of Stonetalon Mountains. Look close and you can see the discoloration; it kind of looks like Blizzard missed a spot.
Maybe not, though. A neat picture, nonetheless.
Hal asked:
So what other gray items are fun to hand off to friends/suckers/unsuspecting guildies?
I always liked sending some Roasted Chicken to our resident boomkin. But a lot of others in the Queue's comments yesterday had some great ideas. Here's some of what they said:
A friend used to always send goldfish from the Dalaran fountain to guildmates as birthday presents. -- Rapskallion
Recently I grinded on deer in Felwood just so I could collect piles of Blood-Engorged Ticks. -- Randolyn
Large Slimy Bone. I have been gift wrapping these to friends for years. Nuf said. -- Chaver
Goblin Gentleman's Magazine (Look at the picture of this one on Wowhead; it's safe for work.)
Felix_rew asked:
Does mana exist in lore? And also what is mana exactly?
Mana is the energy that people attuned to such things draw upon to cast spells. It's a pretty common fantasy subject and has been around for approximately ever. In WoW, I think one could argue that mana exists as the latent energies given off by the ley lines that cross Azeroth. A little bit is tapped into each time you use a spell.
Jason asked:
Does blizzard plan on doing anything in regards to learning the Inscription recipes that require Books of Glyph Mastery? It's absurd to think that I have to spend 500g apiece (current AH price) x 50 to learn them all now that they are so scarce.
There's been nothing from Blizzard on the subject yet, but you are correct, it's pretty absurd. I'd bet that Blizzard will be fixing this problem soon.
