Gameloft surpasses 200 million downloads on the App Store

The publisher and developer of mobile games can openly celebrate that feat, having just sold its 200 millionth game on the App store -- and currently has 20 more iOS games in development for 2011. Titles such as the N.O.V.A. series, Modern Combat and Asphalt are mentioned as having the greatest success in the App store in the release accompanying the news of this lofty achievement.

Gameloft Surpasses 200 Million Downloads on the App Store

PARIS – June 2011 – Gameloft, a leading global publisher of digital and social games, announced today it has surpassed the 200 million download milestone on iOS devices since the launch of the App Store. Major hit franchises such as N.O.V.A. - Near Orbit Vanguard AllianceTM, Asphalt, Modern Combat and Let's Golf have contributed to this monumental achievement.

Gameloft plans to bring more than 20 new titles to iOS through the end of this year. These games will be offered as premium, freemium or subscription based according to their genre.
