The Queue: 5,000 feet

Welcome back to The Queue, the daily Q&A column in which the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Adam Holisky, your friendly pilot, will be your host today.

Assuming everything goes as planned, when this Queue goes live, I'll be just touching down after looking at this view -- 5,000 feet above sea level in the northern part of the United States, snuggled up in a Cessna 172S learning how to fly.

Let me tell you, the Cessna goes a helluva lot faster than my drakes.

I remember a quest chain in the Twilight Highlands where the Red dragonflight called a hunt on the black dragonflight to completely exterminate them. During the quest chain you kill what is described as one of the last egg-laying females.

Because of this, is it lore now that the Black Dragonflight is considered destroyed, with the exception of deathwing?

I remember this too, and as others in the comments pointed out, it was one of the last -- not really the last -- black dragon. I don't think there's much evidence Blizzard is killing off the entire dragonflight, let alone ending a major story arc. Yet.

Will Blizzard do it in the future? Who knows? Well, actually, Metzen knows ... but he's not telling us.

Do any of the Wow Insider staff play the WoW TCG?

Many of us know how to play it and do so when we can (or when the opportunity presents itself). Some of us play it regularly, too. Cryptozoic, the folks who are leading the TCG now, are pretty cool peeps. They helped make our reader meetup at BlizzCon last year really awesome.

So what are Wyrms? Senior citizen dragons?

Wyrms are fully grown, adult dragons. They also can be drunk from the tequila bottle (although I'm a whiskey man, myself).

Why is it assumed that the next expansion (whatever it shall be) has to include either a "Hero" class or new races? Hasn't Blizzard already stated that they didn't want to make another "Hero" class since DKs were a headache to work around

There's no evidence that the next expansion will include a new hero class. Absolutely none. People are just assuming because they like to play the guessing game.

We'll probably be talking more about this guessing game in the days head. It's getting a little nuts.

Why doesn't Vanessa Van Cleef just kill us while we're having a nightmare right in front of her? We're helpless and asleep for five minutes. Is there a reason why she chooses to narrate a story and wait till we snap out of it to kill her?

She wants to tell us what big dicks we are, how much she hates us, and why she hates us. No bad guy ever just kills the heroes and walks away. That's a boring movie, and it'd make a boring video game, too.

That, or she just likes the way I look sleeping. Which is pretty strange, come to think of it. Vanessa, you pervert.
