Here's the latest from the Dum Dum Girls, Bedroom Eyes. Dee Dee Dum Dum (one Miss Kristen Gundred) used to be in a San Diego band I adored, Grand Ole Party; but, like most bands I discover before they hit it big, they broke up after their first album was released. The Dum Dum Girls are a way different animal than GOP, but at least their latest album is an improvement over the first, which sounded like it was recorded in a public bathroom.
This morning, I queued as healer for heroics on my pally alt. After the first pull in GB, the group told me to leve or they would kick me because my gear sucked, my pally is 342 equipped, which is plenty to heal heroics in. (On my disc priest, I've been healing heroics since everyone was 330 or so) I've had similar occurrences happen to me, my friends, and pugs. My question is has anyone else noticed a rise in hostility in the LFD recently, or have I just had a bunch bad luck in my groups?
Hard to base trends on anecdotal evidence. There will always be jerks in the Dungeon Finder, just as there will always be guys who AFK to smoke, or mages who roll on spirit gear, or tanks who run in full resilience gear. It's the facts of life, the facts of li-i-ife.
We've seen where Epic gems are coming from, but where do JC'ers get the cuts? I took a peek on the PTR and there weren't any available from the token vendor. Are these going to be world drops? Retarded faction grinds through raids (my JC doesn't raid) or yet another set of eye-gouging dailies like IQD?
Honestly, we don't really know yet. I hate to give that answer, but it's true!
Regular Raids and Raid Finder Raids are tracked completely separate, right? Meaning, If I do a Raid Finder Raid on Wednesday and down two bosses, I won't be locked out of loot from those bosses on my regular guild raid on Thursday? I'm almost sure everything is separate, just want to confirm.
Correct. Raid Finder raids and regular/heroic raids are two totally separate things. You won't get locked out of loot or attempts from regular/heroic raids from doing the same fights in Raid Finder.
This may be a noob question, but why are some friendly's nametags blue and others green?
Green nametags indicate that the person is currently flagged for PVP.
Could we ever see proper Rogue tanking in the future, like they have over in Rift? (i.e. designed and implemented as part of WoW's design, not players pushing the existing spec and gear to solo lower level instances.) Or would this make Rogues imbalanced in PVP etc etc....
I'm not going to say it's impossible, it's just really unlikely. There are enough tanking classes right now, and Blizzard is pretty unlikely to just give everybody a fourth spec. Besides, would you really want to go through the nerf/buff roller coaster on yet another tank? Remember the death knight tanking experiment? I sure do.
Why does my Crossbow sound like a gun? As far as I know I have no addons to change the sound of a ranged weapon.
The Lava Bolt Crossbow's shooting sound is currently bugged and can't be fixed without a patch.
