Previously on MV TV: The week of June 23rd

Whoa, what a week! It's possible that this last week of livestreaming was the greatest week of all of time! OK, sure, that's open to interpretation, but it is possible that you might have missed the greatest stream ever and never knew it. Luckily for you, I have collected some of the last week's highlights and assembled them into an easy-to-digest pill. Just to be sure to take them on an empty stomach and rest afterward.

This week we have some Champions Online and EVE Online action with Mike; Star Wars: The Old Republic PvP with Psykopig; and adventures in Vanguard: Saga of Heroes, EverQuest II and Age of Conan with MJ. I round it off with a livestream of Divina, a new free-to-play Anime title. Be sure to bookmark our livestream guide so you'll never need to ask "What game is this?" in the chatroom again!

This week in Champions Online, Mike earned the power to fly, which, of course, he immediately abused by bombarding enemies with fireballs from above. Mike also explored the odd solo-instance setup of some of Champions Online's questing system and put the virtual beatdown on more than a few sneaky villains.

Mike's EVE Online stream this week was all about exploration, so explore he did. After unsuccessfully scanning down several systems and checking in on his less-than-stellar Planetary Interaction project, Mike was able to successfully locate and pass through a wormhole. But where did it lead? Tune in and find out what lies beyond normal space (hint: It's more space).

PvP Thursdays are here, and they are awesome! This week, Psykopig struggled to get a win... it just wasn't his week. Joined by his MMO partner, Shazwozza, the Pig attempted to take down a bunch of different maps. After a small glitch to start the show, Psykopig got back in and racked up the kills, but not the wins. For the first time, he got nothing... but tears!

MJ's curse of super-terri-bad dungeon PUGs was (thankfully!) broken as she ventured into Ruins of Vol Tuniel with a Disciple and a Ranger. Even though the dungeon is meant for a full group of levels 30-35, the trio made it through the first rooms pretty well... that is, until the famed "brb" line, that is. Check out some great saves and some, well, non-saves.

Checking to see whether the PUG curse was really broken, MJ joined up with a couple of folks running around in Ruins of Varsoon. Group dynamics got turned on their head a bit in this group, but at least Kung Fu Kitty showed off her improving tanking skills! And what about the curse? Well, the jury is still out on that one. But this much is true: The funnest groups are with you!

Age of Conan banner

After a many-year absence from the land of Hyboria, MJ dusted off her Priest of Mitra to show what changes free-to-play brought to her max-level character. Reset skills? Check. Lost AA skills? Check. Oooh, vanity clothing slots! OK, some things are positive. Along with detailing what returning players could expect, MJ toured a couple of cities and demonstrated her rusty combat skills. The results? Those alligators never stood a chance, but watch out for the snakes...

I ran through a game called Divina, another foreign Anime free-to-play game that boasts cutesy graphics and larger-than-life combat. Don't worry, though; this one is pretty fun and offers a huge amount of content. Did I make sense out of the entire game? Not even close, but I had a lot of fun. Check it out!

Did you miss Massively TV last week? Are you too busy to dig through a week's worth of video to get to the highlights? Never fear! We've done the work for you right here in Previously on MV TV, a roundup of epic battles, tragic deaths, and juicy outtakes from last week's livestreams.
