Divekick finds a publisher, kills Kickstarter fundraiser

The Kickstarter page for Divekick, a fighting game billed as a parody of the genre, has been updated to reflect the campaign's closing, despite reaching its goal of $30,000. Divekick has found itself an unnamed publisher, and the money pledged will no longer be collected.

Those who decided to back the Kickstarter campaign won't miss out on the perks, though said perks are being tweaked a bit. Since t-shirts can't be sent out without some money being sent in first, a special pre-order page will be set up for direct purchases.

Higher reward tier backers will be able to unlock custom color schemes for character outfits, appear in the background of a stage, suggest their own characters, or contribute tips for display on the game's loading screens.
