One Shots: Still got it
Runes of Magic was a F2P game before the cool kids joined the F2P party, but it's been a little neglected by MMO players. Massively reader Andrew wants us to know that it's got some spark left in it:
While Runes of Magic may be three years old, the graphics are still looking great. There's some awesome vistas in RoM that appear when you take the time to control+z your interface and look around. This shot is from Southern Janost Forest.
In fact, Andrew sent us two pics, and they're both behind the break along with a few more of your One Shots!
The second RoM image from Andrew was taken "outside of the Moonlight Circus in the twisted Land of Malevolence."
Glitch got a status update this week! What better way to celebrate than a Glitch screenshot? Veteran commenter soundersfc.tid sent in this pic of his character "lovingly modeled after Matt Smith's 11th Doctor." He wrote, "While the game's graphics are simple, there's something about them that puts me in a better mood." Me too!
João hopes to blow your mind with this next screenshot, captured in Star Wars: The Old Republic. This one he captioned, "Taking the red pill." My eyes!
Finally, we've got a Guild Wars 2 screencap from reader Linnea. "After a hidden, long and difficult jump puzzle in Diessa Plateau, I arrived at this beautiful scene, where I found little Anya tending her strawberries," she wrote. "I decided to pop on my town clothes and enjoy the view!"
Massively was devastated by the news that NCsoft aims to shut down City of Heroes in November. We'd love to aid the campaign to keep the game open right here in One Shots, and failing that, we hope to give the game an appropriate send-off in screenshot format if the dreaded day comes, so please, send us a few of your favorite CoH pics (just don't make me cry).
