The Queue Internal strife

Welcome back to The Queue, the daily Q&A column in which the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Alex Ziebart will be your host today.

I don't know what Adam's war on the Tillers is all about, but he's pushing us dangerously close to civil war. I'm pro-Tillers myself and will not be content until I own the biggest farm on Pandaria.

Though I suppose eradicating the Tillers and taking their land for myself might actually help that along. I'll have to think about this.

Sara asked:

Is there a difference in battle pet performance according to common, uncommon, etc?

Yes! The better the rarity, the higher their stats will be. A common pet is functional, but not ideal. Uncommon is a bit better. Rare is the best.

Of course, it's a little more complicated than that -- two common pets of the same type may not have the same stats. A pet can have health, power, or speed as their primary stat. So you might find a common chicken that is health-heavy, and a common chicken that is speed-heavy. But a health-heavy common chicken will have lower total stats than a health-heavy rare chicken.

Matthew2 asked:

Can you do an article called "I hit 90 - now what?" I am very confused about what options and the options those options unlock are. Thanks.

Sure. Give us some time to put it together.

jfitz1982 asked:

I see centaur rugs everywhere, from orgrimmar, to thunderbluff, to small remote villiages. So why is it that we can't skin them?

Because players (hopefully) aren't so depraved that they'd skin intelligent humanoids and turn them into fashion statements. NPCs, however ... they have issues. Then again, we skin dragons all of the time, and those guys are perfectly sentient. Let's just go with centaur are hideous, disgusting beasts and we think they're too gross to skin.

As a warning to anyone out there, beware the large white birds int he Valley of the Four Winds regardless of your level. I had parked myself in mid-air while was responding to some guild chat when one of these grabbed me (in mid-air!!!) pulled me out of flight form, and uncerimoniously dropped me to my death.

That is amazing. I approve of the flying deathbringers.

michael asked:

Is there any possibility of seeing Hozen and Jinyu being playable races in the future? I know they're only located on Pandaria right now, but they're on the good side of the respective factions. Wouldn't it make sense to include them later?

I'm leaning on the side of probably not. The hozen are of ... questionable intelligence, plus their models have super weird proportions to give them the same armor as everyone else. The jinyu currently use the night elf skeleton and most of their animations, so the fishies would need an immense overhaul before being playable.

Gavin asked:

Aside from pandaren, what is your favorite race in these new lands, friend or for? I have developed a love for the grummels, their luckydoos, and their infallible cheeriness!

I simultaneously love and hate the hozen. Most of the hozen are stupid, disgusting, unpleasant creatures. However, the few reasonable hozen are immensely entertaining, such as Ken-Ken in Valley of the Four Winds and Krasarang. I hope I'll have Ken-Ken at my side when I come down with a case of the spooky-dooks IRL.
