Nintendoware Weekly: Touch Battle Tank 3D, Super Mario Land 2 sale

This week is fairly light on content, with one new Virtual Console game on Wii (another Neo Geo fighter) and one new game on 3DS eShop (Touch Battle Tank 3D, an abstract-looking top-down tank shooting game).

A couple of deals are available that might be worth knowing about: Hulu Plus on Wii offers a free one-month trial, if you sign up between August 10 and September 23. And Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins is one golden dollar cheaper this week on eShop.

There also appears to be a "3D Sports Highlights" video on Nintendo Video, featuring Lego recreations of Olympic highlights. Really.

Wii

• Real Bout Fatal Fury Special (The Learning Company, 1-6 players, 600 Wii Points): Adventures! In math! Probably more "with" or "about" math.

3DS eShop

• Touch Battle Tank 3D (Agetec, 1 player, $4.99): These are battle tanks you control with the touchscreen. Agetec is not suggesting you go touch a battle tank.

• Sale: Super Mario Land 2: Pick up Wario's debut for $2.99 through August 15.

DSiWare

• Commando: Steel Disaster (Cinemax, 1 player, $7.99/800 DSi Points): Originally a retail game, the side-scrolling run-and-gun is now available digitally.
