The Queue: Hints of the next expansion

Welcome back to The Queue, the daily Q&A column in which the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Alex Ziebart will be your host today.

The television series above had a seriouslydepressing series finale.

dark panda asked:

This has probably already been requested, but with the announcement of Dinomancers in Patch 5.2, when are we going to get some Dino-Riders or Dinosaucers themed Queues?

This was the best I could do. Sorry.

thefarticle asked:

I've done plenty in WOW but archeology is something I haven't touched. What's the best way for a level 90 to get started?

It isn't complex, so the easiest way to do it is just to... go do it. Go to a trainer, learn the skill, and start picking up fragments. The progression theoretically goes Eastern Kingdoms/Kalimdor, then Outland, then Northrend, then Cataclysm zones, and finally Pandaria. However, if I remember right, you're able to skill up forever on EK/Kalimdor if you really want to do that.

It's the least complex tradeskill in the game. Go, click, loot, assemble.

lady.goblinade asked:

When capturing pets, does it help the catch rate if I weaken them as much as possible, or is there no difference between 35% health and 1% health?

As far as I know, it makes no difference.

@onlyeskii asked:

Have we seen any indicators or leaks that might provide a hint towards the next expansion?

There haven't been many mentionable leaks on that front, but events in-game have given us some solid ideas of what might be on the horizon -- if they aren't the focus of the next expansion, they'll be an element of it, or perhaps an expansion even further down the road. Patch 5.2's datamined sound files hint toward additional exploration of the nature of the Titans and/or the Old Gods. Throughout the expansion, Wrathion has been talking up the Burning Legion quite a bit.

Those two things are sort of a given, admittedly. They're the ovearching villians in Warcraft so far. Of course we're going to be dealing with Old Gods and the Burning Legion, right? But it's been quite awhile since demons were a primarily villain rather than secondary (or tertiary) so going up against them as a central force again might still be cool.

Monday Queues, ladies and gentlemen. What can you do?
