SOE sends PlanetSide 2 implants 'back to the drawing board'
If you were getting excited about all of the possibilities that implants might bring with PlanetSide 2's GU13, it's time to put a lid on that enthusiasm and shove it back into the fridge so that it won't go bad. SOE President John Smedley said that the team is revisiting the feature due to feedback from the community.
"After reading through your comments we have decided to go back to the drawing board on implants," Smedley said on Twitter. "They will not be coming with GU13."
Implants were cheap consumables designed to offer specific abilities or bonuses over a short span of time.
