Azurite Blue PS3 becomes GameStop exclusive Oct. 8
Though plenty of buzz surrounds the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles right now, those in the market for a new PlayStation 3 may be interested in the flashy Azurite Blue pictured above, coming exclusively to GameStop in North America and Canada on October 8.
The console – based on the system's third hardware revision – comes with the requisite DualShock 3 controller and 250GB of storage. Pre-orders for this $249.99 PS3 will open through GameStop tomorrow.
The Azurite Blue console, along with its Garnet Red counterpart, was first announced for Japan and Europe back in January. The Garnet Red console made its way over here in a special God of War: Ascension bundle earlier this year.

GameStop to Roll out Exclusive Blue Sony PlayStation®3 Console
Sony Computer Entertainment revealed today at the 2013 GameStop Conference, it's annual event for field and store managers, located in Las Vegas, NV, that an exclusive blue Sony PlayStation 3 will be available only at U.S GameStop and Canadian EB Games store locations starting on October 8th, 2013.
The new Azurite Blue PlayStation®3 system includes an Azurite Blue DualShock®3 wireless controller, a 250GB hard drive, a built in Blu-Ray™ player, and can hold over 1800 games, 140 movies, 99,000 songs, and 40,000 photos, or a mixture of all.
GameStop plans to begin offering customers the ability to pre-order the new system as early as tomorrow. The Azurite Blue PlayStation®3 system retails for $249.99 at all GameStop locations, and at www.GameStop.com.
