Connected Realms update for February 20

The list of US realms slated for the Realm Connection service has now been updated with new information regarding upcoming dates for the service, as well as status reports on realms that were slated for connection. Players on the Sisters of Elune and Cenarion Circle servers may want to make note that the connection for those two realms has been delayed -- Blizzard will provide updates on the status of that connection at a later point in time.

The following realms are scheduled to be connected on Thursday, February 27.

  • Alexstrasza and Terokkar

  • Exodar and Medivh

  • Frostwolf and Vashj

  • Gorefiend and Spinebreaker/Wildhammer

  • Gundrak and Jubei'Thos

  • Mug'thol and Dragonmaw/Akama

Read on for the rest of the connections and dates.

The following realms are slated for connection on Thursday, March 6.

  • Alterac Mountains and Balnazzar/Gorgonnash/The Forgotten Coast/ Warsong

  • Drak'thul and Skywall

  • Elune and Gilneas

  • Eredar and Wildhammer/Spinebreaker

  • Ghostlands and Kael'thas

  • Thunderlord and Azgalor/Azshara/Destromath

Currently, the list of upcoming realms with no date set is fairly short -- but make a note if you're playing on the following realms:

  • Borean Tundra and Shadowsong

  • Ghostlands and Kael'thas

  • Scarlet Crusade and Feathermoon

If you're on a low-population realm, but not on the above list, keep in mind that realm connections are an ongoing process, and you may see your realm added to the list over the next several weeks. Also keep in mind that planned connections may change at any time, but Blizzard will keep us updated on changes -- realms may be added or removed from the list at any point in time. For the full list of realms that have been connected so far, check the official site.
