Connected Realms update for February 28

The list of US realms slated for the Realm Connection service has now been updated with new information regarding upcoming dates for the service, as well as new information regarding several connections that have been delayed. Some slated connections have been postponed indefinitely, although they have not as of yet been removed from the list altogether.

The following realms are scheduled to be connected on Thursday, March 6.

  • Drak'thul and Skywall

  • Eredar and Gorefiend/Wildhammer/Spinebreaker

  • Ghostlands and Kael'thas

  • Thunderlord and Azgalor/Azshara/Destromath

Read on for the rest of the connections and dates.

The following realms are slated for connection on Thursday, March 13.

  • Borean Tundra and Shadowsong

  • Dreadmaul and Thaurissan

  • Exodar and Medivh

  • Scarlet Crusade and Feathermoon

The following realms don't have a date set as of yet for connection, but are planned for connection in the future.

  • Drenden and Arathor

  • Thorium Brotherhood and Farstriders/Silverhand

  • Sentinels and Kirin Tor/Steamwheedle Cartel

Finally, the following three connections have been postponed "until a future time." Currently, there is no clarification as to when that time might be. Hopefully they'll be re-added to the list sometime soon -- in the meantime, sit tight, and Blizzard will continue to provide updates as warranted.

  • Alterac Mountains and Balnazzar/Gorgonnash/The Forgotten Coast/Warsong

  • Elune and Gilneas

  • Sisters of Elune and Cenarion Circle

If you're on a low-population realm, but not on the above list, keep in mind that realm connections are an ongoing process, and you may see your realm added to the list over the next several weeks. Also keep in mind that planned connections may change at any time, but Blizzard will keep us updated on changes -- realms may be added or removed from the list at any point in time.
